Thanks for the Peony flower. Known to grace the head dress of the ladies in the Chinese Royal court. It is known as the MUDAN Wa. As I grew up in Borneo, I had not seen one there, and perhaps there are in Auckland. I had paid attention before.I shall now pay attention, I googled and found it blooms from Oct, so I have quite a while to wait.Is your a big shrub?
I love peonies. My boyfriend and I have loads of these for our garden, but didn't realize that they had one bloom (bummer) - we thought they were like dahlia's, which seem to bloom forever. These are lovely; your photography is amazing!
They are beautiful. I've seen so many beautiful peonies at other blogs, but I don't see them anymore. I guess yours will be the last.
I just found your blog and your Macro Flowers Saturday Meme, and am very excited to participate next Saturday. Macro Flower shots are my Favorites. I've become a Follower and added MFS to my SideBar. CollectInTexas Gal Photo Blog is my photography blog. See you Saturday...Sue
They are just so delicate and lovely with that pastel hue. Beautiful shots.
They are beautiful Maia. I've just come in from the garden and mine are nearly finished too - I have had hardly anytime in the garden in the past few weeks to enjoy seeing mine.
They are gorgeous and so fragrant! Ours finished blooming a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks for visiting and for taking the time to comment.
