Beautiful macro shot of magnolia! Our weather is so cold, and I think the magnolia around my area are ruined!

Hi Maia

I love magnolia flowers - and the buds do be so hairy before they open. They remind me of big tulips. I grow one in the garden but its a darker coloured one than this.

My entry today is in super macro as the flower is so tiny to begin with and ever so unusual.

Your magnolias are superb. Such great detail and lovely composition. I am posting macro shots of the Giant Tecolote Ranunculus but I cannot get McLinky to work tonight. I'll try again in the morning.
