These certainly are very showy asters Maia. The ones that will be flowering soon in my garden have blooms the size of buttons.
We had purple asters at our old house. We transplanted them to my MIL's garden before moving and I'm hoping to bring a few home in the spring for Fall 2011 blooming.
The photos are gorgeous. I didn't realize there were more colors.
