Maple leaves - photos of beautiful autumn colors

Maple leaves, autumn leaves are falling but before they go, they delight us with the beautiful fall foliage colors we enjoy each year.
The bright green of the leaves is already fading away changing to yellow and orange colors.

Some years are more spectacular than others depending on the weather; drought years produce the most intensely colored autumn foliage. Autumn leaves

Maple leaves
Leaves receiving the most sunshine are those that turn the warmest hues, though few of our trees' leaves turn to red, as they do in some parts of the world.

I love your beautiful fall leaves. Here in the desert Southwest we are still having daily temperatures of 106 to 107 at least for the next week, so fall is still a long way from us. We also do not have many trees whose leaves turn red, although just a mere 100 miles to the north there are beautiful red oak leaves in the fall and gorgeous aspens on the mountains which look like spun gold in the sunlight.

Beautiful photos depicting autumnal scenes Maia.

You seem to be slightly earlier than us with Autumn - only a few leaves have dropped and that was due to the low pressure system thanks to the dreggs of huricane Earl from the USA.

I didn't realise we could add leaves to the meme - thats good news as the flowers are getting less and less in my garden.

Oh, how exciting to experience Autumn through other people's photographs! We only have summer: sunny hot, occasional rains, visiting storms, and recently, a combination of all three!

This is one of the best memes I've encountered and I look forward to it, each weekend - but fall foliage comes a little later around here. Cheers! (And thanks)

Our leaves haven't really started to change yet. Our maple trees tho are gorgeous in the fall! The weather is cooling so it won't be long!
Great shots!

I love the color and feel of fall, yet still dread its arrival. After all, it does signal winter is just around the corner. Beautiful shots!

Your autumn leaves are perfect! Ours aren't changing color yet...I guess we're a little behind you. I'll be on the lookout for fall foliage over the next month around my neighborhood! Thanks for hosting.

Everything I saw was bright and it looks very delightful. I was not blogging lately and I missed MFS! Have a happy weekend!

Glad to know that non-flower parts of plants are OK. In the coming winter, that's going to be a big help! Your work is lovely as always.

I always love to see Autumn color leaves , they are so pretty. Since we're in the tropic with only the sun and rain, there's no way we can see such beauty here. When the leaves change color to yellow here, then we know that's it's dying. Some leaves do changes color to red, but not the whole tree.

Nice color. Our leaves are not changing here yet. In the deep south it will be closer to October.

These leaves are gold and orange, most our maple leaves turn red and brown, but thank goodness, they are still green now.

I just discovered this meme. So, even though it is Sunday, I went ahead and posted late, because I want to participate. :-)

They're all lovely photos, but I especially like the middle image with the autumn leaves scattered around the base of the tree.

Your leaves are just a little further along than ours, so I can really appreciate the colour!
I had extra shifts all weekend, so I am only getting to visit now!
