Trees covered with fresh snow

It is still snowing and it's a great pleasure to walk in the fresh, soft snow and take photos.
My intention was to take some snowflake macros in daylight. I've spent a few hours outdoors, even after dark but my macros didn't turn out as intended.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

New is the year, new are the hopes and the aspirations, new are the spirits and forever my warm wishes are for you. Have a promising and fulfilling new year!

Here are a few winter photos with fresh snow.

Beautiful photos, snow gives everything a totally different look. I have been trying for snowflake macros too but so far no luck.

That is heavy snow! We have snow, but we also have below-zero temperatures, and I don't like being outside. ;-) Thanks for the great year of macro flower challenges.

Happy 2011 Maia!
I love seeing plants covered in snow and marvel how they survive it all! If we ever have snow in our house Heaven, all my poor beings will freeze to bits!

I took snow photos today, too, but I don't have a macro lens and envy yours.
