Lisianthus flower-Eustoma photos

This is the Lisianthus flower or Eustoma, the flower that looks like a rose but it's not a rose.
I just received a lovely bouquet of these beauties from a friend.
We only have them in flower shops, as cut flower or potted house plant.

Lisianthus flower are found growing wild in warm regions of the Southern United States, Mexico and northern South America, in grassland and disturbed ground.

There are many cultivars, coming in a great variety of colors, purple, pink, white and mixed colors with simple or double petals.

Beautiful color and selective focus. The petals do make it look like a rose.
